OPATIJA

Opatija is a Croatian coastal town on the Adriatic Sea. A fashionable resort in the 19th century, it’s dotted with Habsburg-era villas. The Lungomare is a promenade that snakes along the coastline, offering views of the town and neighboring islands. The 1800s Villa Angiolina, set in a garden of exotic plants, houses the Croatian Museum of Tourism. Parts of St. Jacob’s Church date from the 16th century.

The Marino Cvetković Sports Hall covers an area of 11,000 square metres. The large sports court has 1,217 seats including movable stands, which are located on one side of the central sports court.

Large hall with HARO parquet flooring and underfloor heating with a total viewing space for 1,217 spectators, of which 877 are fixed and 340 on mobile (telescopic) stands. The large hall occupies an area of 1,800 m2, which can be converted into three parallel basketball using two movable curtains.

Small hall also with HARO type flooring and underfloor heating (area of 200 m2)

THE PLITVICE LAKES

Walkways and hiking trails wind around and across the water, and an electric boat links the 12 upper and 4 lower lakes. The latter are the site of Veliki Slap, a 78m-high waterfall.
